Because someone's gotta get the ball rolling, here goes my predictions for this week's competitive games.

Centaurs > Nebraska Longhorns: Gonna be a great game to start the comp season off on the right foot. Centaurs' offense will be challenged by one of the league's best tackling Ds, but will be too much for NE Longhorns in the end - 24-16.

Sarkany Army > The Shockers: Always an entertaining game between these two. But, I say the upperhand goes to Sarkany Army this time - 30-26.

The Hitmen = Haterade: That's right. Time for a tie ballgame Although it's gonna be huge challenge for us to match Hitmen's many weapons, plus they were hitting on all cylinders in the summer tourney. We'll see what happens - that's why we play the game, right? 25-25

Puppy Stompers > Backdoor Legends: This one's going down to the wire. These guys on these teams have seen plenty of each other in the past, & I'm thinking Puppy Stompers will make a great last-minute drive to win 20-18.

Hormel > Balls Deep: Yet another solid matchup. However, I gotta give Hormel the edge if they're team is anything like they were in the spring. 31-20.

Macguyver > 6 County: This one is gonna be a high-scoring affair with...(you guessed it)...Macguyver winning the season opener 35-32.

Puppy Stompers > Capital Punishment: But just barely b/c CP has a new QB, someone we Haterade folks know pretty well & will enjoy facing later this season 27-23.

Yeah and the last time we saw these guys, we were both intermediate teams and we stomped them to the tune of 42-17... I will be looking forward to this game to say the least.

There is NO WAY IN HELL the Hitmen will have a game end in a tie shit i am predicting we win by at least 3tds nothing against you haterade but with this much talent on O we should win easy but your right that is why we play the game so see ya sunday

Just curious, weren't there 18 comp teams a week ago at the captains' mtg? What happened to the other 5? I was looking forward to a few more predictions.

It appears, the strain was too much for them. But don't worry i'm your huckleberry.

A few of them are looking to get their teams together by the second deadline, guys at the University weren't back in town yet. Hopefully they'll get it together.

Oh and 6 County > MacGuyver , but then you say MacGuyver is going to win. I'm curious which one you have winning this game. I assume you meant 6 County wins. . ? > ?
