You compare the catch to college football, but FF rules are different. Mike had clearly caught the ball (as defined by FF rules). The only chance you have of breaking up a pass is if you hit the ball (and ball only) the instant it hits their hands, or if it is being bobbled. Nothing that can change it now, but hopefully the refs for our game will use it as a learning experience in the future. |
