Hi guys, I heard the city skipped on mowing the fields a few weeks. I pressed them on this and here is the response from the Parks and Rec director. Just fyi, this should be handled now. Quote: Wyatt, The fields were mowed yesterday. With all the rain, and the mowing schedules the parks department has to stick to, it just didn’t happen on the “normal” rotation meaning the grass had a couple extra days to grow. I’m sorry, and I’ve forwarded your email to our district parks manager for Northwest Lincoln as a reminder of the league you are running out there on Sundays. Ryan Thank You. Wyatt |
