Major League Improvements and Changes

>New equipment and flags purchased for all fields

>Ref Fees $20/game. The goal here is to improve the quality and more important the quantity of officials available each week to improve quality of experience and play. (if you're interested in reffing please email us nebflagfootball@gmail.com and we'll get you trained and ready to go

>Elimination of 3pt Extra points. Now after a score you'll have the option of going for 1 from the 3 yard line, or 2 from the 10 yard line. 3pt attempts will no longer be available. This move was made for player safety, to avoid an almost guaranteed high number of people in a jump ball situation, and also so that our game more closely matches the scoring and strategy of actual football

>Face Guarding penalty (without contact), is no longer illegal in our league. This is just one a lot of people had an issue with, so we listened and removed it as we don't believe there needs to be a penalty with no contact on these plays.

>On a FG attempt, if the defense gets an interception they will get the ball at where ever their resulting position is, you no longer have the option to go back to the original spot.

Rule Clarifications

>All flags need to be in at the beginning of the play for both the offense and DEFENSE, if a ref notices this it's a penalty.

>Spiking the ball to stop the clock in the final two minutes of the game is legal, as every linemen is eligible so a WR is in fact in the area.

>After the ball is hiked the puck becomes the marker for the line of scrimmage for BOTH teams. As long as one foot is behind that marker when the quarterback begins his reasonable throwing motion the play will be considered as a legal forward pass.
