I was told there would be a refs meeting happening before the first game for anyone interested in being a ref. Is this still happening?

Look I know life gets hectic but this is seriously messed up. This guy has messaged you on facebook, emailed the site, gave his # to Derek in person, made a post on the board, and called Derek after you replied to his post. He has still not recieved a reply from anyone about if he is needed, where/when to meet, or even if he should just show up game day. I think you guys need to work on getting things communicated better!

Ya, that happened to us last season too. He played then so he has a feel for the rules and knows football in general. I just cant believe that he cant get a response from them. And they even have a thing up on the page saying "refs needed," its crazy.

If I were you I would just show up since they are always in need.

Derek should be in contact with you soon. If he didn't have time this week, I'm sure if you talk to him at the fields he would be more then happy to get you trained and scheduled in for later weeks.
